FemaleFirst: Dougie Poynter Happy For Frankie's New Love

Här är en liten artikel med citat från Dougie, Danny och Tom om Frankie's nya fling:

Dougie Poynter Happy For Frankie's New Love

McFly star Dougie Poynter insisted he was happy ex-girlfriend Frankie Sandford had found love with soccer player Wayne Bridge just days before he entered rehab.
Dougie Poynter has insisted he is happy ex-girlfriend Frankie Sandford had found love with Wayne Bridge.

The McFly guitarist - who is currently receiving treatment in rehabilitation centre The Priory - was left devastated after The Saturdays beauty called time on their romance but despite her moving on with soccer star Wayne, he's pleased she is happy.

When asked about Frankie's new romance, Dougie told Star magazine: "Look, it's cool - so long as she's happy, that's all I can ask for.

"Although I wanted to date Wayne Bridge, so I'm a bit jealous, to be honest. I'm gonna do one better.

Look, it's cool - so long as she's happy, that's all I can ask for.
"I'm gonna have an affair with Wayne Rooney. Prostitute myself."

Dougie had been getting over his heartbreak with the help of his bandmates - Tom Fletcher, Harry Judd and Danny Jones - and was staying with Tom prior to entering rehab last week.

Danny said: "I haven't had a one-to-one chat with him since it happened because we've been so busy with the tour, but I said to him last week, 'We need to go for a beer and a catch-up.' He's living with Tom at the moment, so it's all good."

Tom added to new! magazine: "Our houses are next door to each other. We'd see each other every day anyway so he's moved in with me since he split up with Frankie."

While Dougie insisted he was happy about his former flame's new romance, his bandmates aren't convinced it will be a long union.

When asked if the relationship would last, Tom said: "I'm not sure."

Danny was more forthright, saying: "No, I don't think so. I personally couldn't give a s**t what she does."

Daily Star: MCFLY TOUR'S HERO THEME

Här är en intervju med Danny där han pratar lite om arena turnén som snart drar igång och sina planer på att släppa ett dance album:

MCFLY TOUR'S HERO THEME

McFly's upcoming arena tour has been inspired by caped crusaders.

Singer Danny Jones, 24, told me: “Our set is superhero themed. It’s like something out of Spider-Man and Batman.”

The lads have had to delay the start of their tour due to Dougie Poynter’s stint in rehab but preparations are still going well.

Danny added: “We go through sections of our career on stage, kind of chronologically.

“We’re reworking some old songs and have had to leave out a few hits too like I’ll Be OK.”

But while bandmate Dougie, 23, nurses his broken heart in rehab, Danny has been taking advantage of the band’s unscheduled free time to make some dance music.

The Bolton boy said: “I’m a huge dance music fan and I spend all of my time making it. It were just a hobby at first but I’m putting together an album. I’ve invested loads of money building a studio at home.

“I don’t want it to step in the way of McFly stuff so I’m planning on releasing it under a different name.

“I didn’t want it to be a cheesy solo project thing.

“So I’ve been working with Roger Sanchez but the stuff I make is more progressive house like Eric Prydz or Afrojack.”

In fact one of Danny’s efforts with Roger has been snapped up by Sarah Harding, 29, for her solo LP.

And there’s a new McFly single, which is out now.

Danny added: “It’s a big pop song called That’s The Truth and we wrote it with Dallas Austin – it’s an extension of heartache.”

Dougie Poynter Recovering Well In Rehab

"Mcfly star Dougie Poynter is "doing great" on his road to recovery after checking into rehab, according to his bandmate Danny Jones.

The bassist was admitted to a clinic earlier this month (Mar11) to seek help for personal issues, reportedly linked to his stressful break-up from The Saturdays singer Frankie Sandford in November (10).

The group has been forced to axe the first three dates on their upcoming tour to allow Poynter extra time to rehearse after completing his rehab stint - but Jones insists his pal is "very excited" to hit the road.

Jones tells Britain's OK! TV, "He's doing great. We've sent him a lot of love and he's had lots of support. We'll see him next week and he's very excited for the tour. We wanted to rehearse and get it really good for the tour. We don't want to rush it so (the postponement) gives us that bit of extra time."

Mcfly's Above The Noise trek kicks off on 18 March (11) in Sheffield, England."
