"Reports in today’s tabloids allege that Fightstar frontman Charlie Simpson is quitting the cult British rock outfit to reform Busted, the boyband that kick started his career.As you’d expect, the rumour is categorically not true.
"Fightstar have been together for six years now and we have made three albums that we are all extremely proud of,” Simpson told Kerrang! “We are now in a more creative place than ever before and there is absolutely no sign of it slowing down. We have a very dedicated fan base that has been with us from the start and no doubt will be with us for a very long time.
“I wish Matt and James all the best with their future projects but I want to make it unequivocally clear that I have no interest what-so-ever in re-joining Busted and I never will,” he added. “I am at a point in my life were I am content and happy and I wouldn’t change it for the world.". "
