Dougie and Frankie split up

Frankie Sandford may have broken up with McFly Dougie Poynter again, but she looked far from heartbroken out at Whisky Mist last night.

After allegedly dumping Poynter, 22, for the second time in less than a year, The Saturdays singer was spotted partying with a male model.

And the brunette pop star, 22, was being consoled in the London club last night by her former S Club Junior bandmate, model and dancer Aaron Renfree.



Frankie reportedly ended her on/off two year relationship with Dougie last week and a friend of the star told Metro: ‘Dougie is devastated. He didn’t see it coming at all and still doesn’t know why.

‘They were planning to settle down and were actually house hunting. It’s the second time Frankie has done this after she dumped him in February but came back in tears and said she made a mistake.’

It was a party plane full of pop stars yesterday as The Saturdays, McFly and JLS all made their way back from Glasgow together.
The bands, who had been performing at the In: Demand Live music event at the SECC in the Scottish city, looked happy and excited as they greeted photographers at London's Heathrow Airport after their flight home.
But it seems the group may have got slightly confused during the flight as The Saturdays star Frankie Sandford left with McFly singer Danny Jones, while her bandmate Mollie King posed for photographers with Frankie's boyfriend Dougie Poynter.

And Dougie even told the paparazzi that he had 'swapped' Frankie for Mollie, who looked stunning in a checked shirt and denim hotpants.

But despite any confusion about who is dating who, it seems the flight was enjoyed by all.
Una Healy, who looked chic in a red miniskirt, black top and black boots, tweeted fans: '3 bands, McFly, JLS and The Saturdays all on one flight home! Was so much fun today, xx'

While Mollie added: 'Just had a hilarious plane and bus journey with mcfly and jls! One to be remembered! Haha! X
Earlier in the evening, The Saturdays, JLS and McFly all took to the stage at In: Demand Live, and were joined by stars including Alexandra Burke and Diana Vickers.

The music event was somewhat of a comeback for McFly, who are gearing up for the release of their new album later this year and appear to be trying out an edgy new look, and sound.
McFly, who recently resigned with Island Records, also recently released new singe Party Girl, produced by Madonna and Michael Jackson's producer Dallas Austin.

Frankie Sandford reunites with boyfriend Dougie Poynter

"It was only two months ago they called time of their relationship, blaming their busy work schedules.

But it appeared absence made the heart grow fonder for The Saturdays singer Frankie Sandford and McFly bassist Dougie Poynter as they have decided to give things another try.

Last night, the couple made their first public appearance together since reuniting as they attended the Sony Radio Academy Awards in London.

Sandford, 21, had been invited to present The Sony DAB Rising Star Award to former Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker for his BBC6Music show and brought along Poynter as her date.

The girl band singer looked stunning in a cream asymmetrical dress, while Poynter, 22, was a bit more laid back in jeans and a navy blazer.

As the couple left the Grosvenor House Hotel together to head back to their north London home, Sandford couldn’t stop smiling as she was back at her beau’s side.

Sandford, who was voted fourth sexiest woman in the world by FHM magazine, admitted last week they had got back together.

Despite claiming they were ‘taking it slow’, they have already moved back in together in a flat in Edmonton, north London.

She said: ‘I am back with Dougie but we’re taking it slow.

‘I missed him too much. It’s definitely made us realise that what we have together is good.

‘We’re living together again. It’s so nice.’

The pair decided to reunite after an emotional heart-to-heart at the May Fair Hotel three weeks ago.

The brunette beauty was seen crying on a sofa as she was comforted by Poynter.

At the time, she said: ‘Will I get back with Dougie? Never say never.

‘It was so embarrassing seeing the pictures of me crying the other day. It was the first time I’d seen him since the split, so I was so emotional. I wasn’t expecting him to be so sweet, but he was.’

Before their split, the pair had been dating for 20 months and moved in together last summer."
