McFly member leaves singing contest
McFly band member Danny Jones has become the fourth singer to be knocked out of ITV’s Popstar to Operastar.
Five remaining celebrities battled to secure a place in the Popstar to Operastar semi-final.
Those still in the Popstar to Operastar running alongside Jones were singer Bernie Nolan, Coronation Street actress and former Hear’Say star Kym Marsh, singer Darius Campbell and Marcella Detriot of Shakespears Sister.
Danny Jones was voted off after being placed in the bottom two with Detroit.
