Yes, you! Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones are set to shoot a special documentary back where it all began on the ‘Third Floor’ of the Intercontinental Hotel but this time they’re inviting you to join them.

The documentary will see the two members back at the Intercontinental Hotel celebrating the history of Room On The Third Floor.

For a limited time, the boys are opening the phone lines to their fans, Pioneers and Galaxy Defenders.

All you have to do is call and leave a voicemail stating why Room On The Third Floor is so special to you, your story, your favourite song and why, or anything to do with what the album means to you… You’ll have to keep it quick as messages can’t be any longer than 20 seconds.

coffee? Beer.

Crisps or popcorn? Crisps.

Treats from home or local cuisine? Local cuisine. You
have got to experience the culture of where you are. It is a lot of fun being
taken to nice restaurants but then again, sometimes you do miss Marmite. So I
always take some Marmite with me.

Bed at midnight or party ‘til
5am? Preferably bed before midnight. It would have been different in
the past but at the moment it is definintely bed before midnight.

Alarm clock or woken by friends? Alarm clock please.

Cards or monopoly? I think I would have to say cards
because you can play more games and it is easier to carry.

What is the ultimate item you
could take on your rider? I would take a personal masseuse. Touring for
a couple of months at a time means your shoulders get tight. It would be good to
get on the bus and get a rub down.

It's all about mum's salon for McFly star Danny Jones

WHEN Kath Jones wanted a celebrity to endorse her new-look hair salon, she didn’t have to look too far.

For her son Danny Jones, a member of smash-hit band McFly, was on hand to perform the honours.

“He offered,” said Kath, “I’m so proud that he supports local businesses and organisations.”

But there was something in it for Danny as well.

“He actually had his hair cut on Saturday,” said Kath, who has owned the hairdressers in the Last Drop Village for more than 20 years.

The Village Studio has been renamed Xcel as part of a £15,000 investment to give it a trendy look. The transformation was part of a refurbishment of the complex, overseen by Kath and Steve Walsh, her partner and business partner.

Members of the public were greeted with champagne as they eagerly awaited the arrival of Danny, many of whom were clients.

Danny said: “The salon looks amazing , I’m loving it.

“I wanted to support my mum, because she has not had something like this before. It is so different to what it was like.”

He added: “I do like to support businesses and organisations in Bolton, because it is where I’m from.

“It’s brilliant so many people have turned up to support my mum, I never expected it.”

Despite celebrating the opening of the salon with his family the night before, he greeted autograph hunters and even belted out songs with his sister Vicky later in the afternoon.

Vicky said: “I’m so proud of my mum. Last time I sang with my brother was when they played at the MEN arena in 2007.”

Kommer ni ihåg när vi la upp klipp på när killarna tävlade mot varandra och gjorde olika utmaningar? Det förlorande laget skulle straffas med att bli gooed men eftersom Stripes (Harry och Danny) bara vann med några fler röster än Spots (Dougie och Tom) så fick båda lagen bli gooade! Xxx McFluCrew

Danny Jones Fuming About Online Hack

The British singer discovered on Friday (08Apr11) that a prankster had accessed one of his webpages and changed his settings - and he's branded the fraudster a "loser" for targeting his personal files.

In a series of posts on his Twitter page, he writes, "What is the point in hacking my mail you sad sad person!!! Have fun.

"Ahhh I see and you've changed my birthday too???... Congrats (sic) you officially have nothing better to do in your loser life." "

MCFLY TOUR'S HERO THEME

McFly's upcoming arena tour has been inspired by caped crusaders.

Singer Danny Jones, 24, told me: “Our set is superhero themed. It’s like something out of Spider-Man and Batman.”

The lads have had to delay the start of their tour due to Dougie Poynter’s stint in rehab but preparations are still going well.

Danny added: “We go through sections of our career on stage, kind of chronologically.

“We’re reworking some old songs and have had to leave out a few hits too like I’ll Be OK.”

But while bandmate Dougie, 23, nurses his broken heart in rehab, Danny has been taking advantage of the band’s unscheduled free time to make some dance music.

The Bolton boy said: “I’m a huge dance music fan and I spend all of my time making it. It were just a hobby at first but I’m putting together an album. I’ve invested loads of money building a studio at home.

“I don’t want it to step in the way of McFly stuff so I’m planning on releasing it under a different name.

“I didn’t want it to be a cheesy solo project thing.

“So I’ve been working with Roger Sanchez but the stuff I make is more progressive house like Eric Prydz or Afrojack.”

In fact one of Danny’s efforts with Roger has been snapped up by Sarah Harding, 29, for her solo LP.

And there’s a new McFly single, which is out now.

Danny added: “It’s a big pop song called That’s The Truth and we wrote it with Dallas Austin – it’s an extension of heartache.”

So when we saw this picture of McFly outside ITV this morning, the first thing we were drawn to was Harry’s jumper. Mostly because it’s really quite loud, but also because it looks so snug and cosy. Danny + dance album = true?

The 'Party Girl' group have changed their sound dramatically over their career, going from guitar pop to rock and now having a dance music influenced sound; but singer and guitarist Danny Jones sees their long term future in either a glam rock or heavy metal.

He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I reckon in 10 or 15 years we'll either be like Kiss or Slipknot where we have to cover ourselves up in all sorts of makeup. That'll be the way."

His bandmate, frontman Tom Fletcher, is a little less sure, saying he likes to take each new album as it comes.

He said: "It's hard to tell how we'll be in 10 years time, this time two or three years ago we'd never have imagined this album to be like it is, and each time we go into the studio and record an album you never really know what it's going to come out like, or what influences we're going to be into."

McFly - which also includes bass player Dougie Poynter and drummer Harry - release their seventh album 'Above The Noise' in the UK on November 15."
